Peace Valley

Our first stop when we visit Peace Valley is usually the bird blind, where we saw this chickadee.

There were cormorants everywhere, usually posing.

But we also saw this coot.

Turtles basking in the sunshine.

A sparrow singing, but looking into the sun it was hard to decide if this was a field sparrow or not.

No mistaking this bluebird.

This bird I think is mistaken.  That is the top of a wood duck box and that is a starling, not a wood duck.
