Bird walk

On Friday a group gathered at 8 in the morning for a bird walk led by Ruth Pfeffer.  I think they were looking for the redstart at this point.

Ruth was saying "Hear that".  She can identify the birds by song, call, and behavior, as well as by seeing them.

We did see the tree swallow.

This veery was searching for food on the ground in the woods.  How lucky we were to see it.
