Meadow

Most people prefer the front meadow with the ox-eye daisies, and while it is nice to look at, I prefer to look further.
In the back meadow I saw the mother bluebird gathering food to feed her young.
Here are the bright yellow blooms of the golden alexanders.
The purple of the trandescantia, which was very attractive to many insects.
This skipper was attracted, but flew off before I could get a good photo.
There are dame's rocket blooming on the edge of the woods.
In the wetland I saw several common whitetail dragonflies.
