During the past week we were at a birding Road Scholar program in Cape May, NJ.
Our accommodations were in the Grand Hotel, where we were served huge portions, especially for dinner.
Our transportation was in a trolley, and some had padded seats!
Who would ever think the Purple Martin could be a trash bird. Well, not exactly, but we certainly did see many of them.
We saw even more red-wing blackbirds, and heard them just as often.
The least tern at the bird blind on the Red Trail was a treat on Sunday.
This killdeer was seen in a puddle at the CMBO headquarters in Goshen.
The hummingbirds were using the back porch feeders at CMBO.
Here is our group on the beach for an early morning walk.
The common grackle enjoys a walk near the waves.
The song sparrow singing, of course.
Forster's terns, adult and immature.
Roseate tern, a rare sighting at Cape May.
