5 C day at Peace Valley

Cabbage white butterfly.  The first of the season and it will be the last seen in the fall.

Canada goose taking a drink.

Cardinal.

Cormorants.

Cowbird.  Then we also saw....

Blue jay.

Goldfinch is beginning to turn yellow.

Tree swallow on the line.

The turtles were everywhere enjoying the sun.

A white-throated sparrow.  The winter birds are still here.

A downy woodpecker on the suet.
