Birds and Butterflies

This song sparrow was singing away from the top of the box that the tree swallows now call home.
But the tree swallow did not consider this little guy a threat at all.
There are a new pair of mallards in our wetland, at least I think it is a new pair.
While on the Loop Trail, something orange caught my eye, and it turned out to be a comma butterfly  Looks like an overwintering one, as it is rather tattered.
Then there were two, but this time it was two Zabulon skippers, both males.
The bluebirds are busy feeding the young.
It looks like they feed without even going inside.  The babies must be getting big.
